Mission Statement: Sherman Community Players exists to stimulate an interest in theater by presenting plays, promoting, and developing local talent, and advocating for cultural arts in the community.

Casting Policy Statement: Sherman Community Players adheres to a policy of open casting; that is, directors cast the performers with the talents and qualities appropriate for a given role regardless of that performer's ethnicity or gender. Unless specifically limited by the script, all roles are open to all performers.

Theatregoer understands and agrees that COVID-19 and other communicable diseases may represent a serious health and safety risk to theatregoer. By entering a Sherman Community Players venue, theatregoer freely and voluntarily assumes all risks associated with entering a place of public gathering and voluntarily waives any and all claims and potential claims against Sherman Community Players relating to COVID-19 or any other communicable disease or illness, or that arise from or relate in any way to, however caused, the risk of exposure or actual or alleged exposure to a bacteria, virus or other pathogen capable of causing COVID-19 or any other communicable disease or illness, in each case whether the actual or alleged circumstances giving rise to any claim or potential claim occur before, during, or after the event.
